Haruharu is a young design studio based in Tallin, Estonia. The studios everyday life is divided between working on industrial design projects for clients, experimenting and developing their own product line and maintaing a small fab-lab with a group of architects.
hangers

The foundations of the office were laid with the first independent project – grown coat hangers by Kairi Kuuskor and Janno Nou back in 2010. The project started out as an experiment with a living design, but grew into an unconventional production method and a commercial product. Since the branches are modelled without any steaming and only the moisture of the tree is used, it has set seasonal limits to the production and taught the designers the coherence with forest growth cycles. Despite the delicate appearance, the hangers are quite sturdy and can carry even winter coats.

loop
The latest project by Kairi Kuuskor and Markus Marks is a series of interactive gift posters under the name Bold Tuesday, that change over time and challenge the owner to live the life at its fullest. At the moment there are three themes linked to adventure and travel – a world map “Go!World” for those who have travelled a lot and intend to keep going, a typographic poster of random cities “Go! Cities” and a poster of manly challenges named “Manly to-do list”. Manly to-do list is a perfect gift for a man – it’s allowed to open only those challenges that have been done, for example – drive a tractor. All of the posters at first are  black blank surface with barely visible contours cut into it, which you can peel off, so your accomplishments will show in white.
In nearest future Haruharu plans to develop Bold Tuesday line and go international with it.
