Estonian Design House (EDH) is a magical place just next to the old fishing harbor in Tallinn, Estonia. It includes several design studios, Estonian Association of Designers, Design Night Festival, gallery and a design cafe Klaus. Its aim is to make Estonian design more visible, give designers trading channels and motivation for new, creative ideas. EDH acts as a platform for Estonian designers by helping to promote their products both in Estonia and abroad. Estonian Design House pop-up shop has been installed in a few cities in Finland, in St.Petersburg, San Francisco and several places all over Estonia.

Estonian Design House started with just 16 designers, but now reached almost a hundred. It represents remarkable product design, ranging from interior accessories to fashion. The design is unique and exceptional by the ability of Estonian designers to tie the knowledge and skills of our ancestors and precious visual legacy with innovative technologies and solutions of 21st century. Design is strongly influenced by the rich history of Estonia and its location – at the crossroads of Eastern, Western and Northern Europe. These aspects make Estonian design exciting, rapidly boiling pot, where the unique Nordic functionality and minimalism blends with Western playfulness.

EDH joining forces with designers, has made Estonian design more and more recognizable abroad. Tallinn Design Night, design event, held in Tallinn every fall, is arranged in collaboration with Helsinki Design Week and design from this small country is being exhibited in the Helsinki Design Museum, Design Forum, St. Etienne Design Biennial, international DesignMai Berlin , Maison&Objet Paris and 100% Design London.
EDH is a must-visit place, when one comes to Tallinn. Great porcelain designers Ene Raud and Blue Design are represented together with textile artists Monika Jarg, Ko! and Krista Leesi. You can find plenty of exclusive Estonian fashion designer pieces and a very special recycled fashion by Reet Aus, which studio is located just upstairs in the same building. All in one – great place to relax in a wonderful atmosphere, shop, enjoy exclusives form Estonia and have a little something in Cafe Klaus.
