3rd Prize for Darning Pear in EESC Design Eleven

Mari Korgesaar, Liina Tiidor from Tartu, Estonia have received 3rd prize in EESC Design Eleven – 2011 European Design Award For A Sustainable Present. Their Darning Pear tool reminds old tradition of mending clothes. Darning pear is meant to be normally tool to repairing socks, but it can be used for other similar purposes. It promotes economical lifestyle and sustainability
